KENZI Technology showcases 'chipless' RFID at Dubai Airport Show
Kenzi Technology, regional leader in providing a full portfolio of revolutionary security technology and IT communications solutions are being active participants at Dubai's seventh Airport Show.
The show takes place from the 28th of May to the 30th at the Airport Expo Dubai and is considered to be Asia's premier airport industry event.
Kenzi Technology is showcasing the latest solutions in Airport Security based on CHIPLESS RFID. This technology CRIS짰 is the winner of the prestigious Frost & Sullivan "TECHNOLOGY OF THE YEAR-2006" award.
The technology invented by Inkode Corporation is used for printing baggage tags and boarding passes, making the innocuous paper cards turn electronic. Tracking and linking a baggage to the passenger is one of the advantages of CRIS짰 - Chipless Remote Identification System based tags. To illustrate the device, a live demonstration will take place at Kenzi Technology's stand throughout the exhibition. Moreover, Dr. Morton Greene, the inventor of this technology and President of Inkode Corporation, will be presenting a lecture on Chipless RFID and its applications at the Airport Show.
"Security is the buzzword that dominates our lives today. Ever increasing threats, innovative response systems, billions of dollars spent on security deployments, adoption of the latest technologies, yet the general populace remains as vulnerable as ever" said Mr. Madhu Sethi, Chief Executive Officer of Kenzi Technology. "Airports are soft gateways as passenger screening and detection methods remain vulnerable. Besides increased spending on safety systems, airlines are facing eroding bottom lines due to lost baggage and mis-connect flights. Lost baggage sinks global airline revenues by over 2 billion USD annually."
Dr. Morton Greene, the inventor of this technology and President of Inkode Cooperation will be presenting a lecture on Chipless RFID and its applications at the Airport Show. Dr. Greene has a number of patents in Chipless RFID to his credit and has been working in the field of RF engineering for over 4 decades. He has worked with several governments around the globe in anti-counterfeiting and document security fields. This innovative technology and its various applications in security, e-Passports and document authentication will be on display at the Kenzi Technology booth.
In collaboration with Inkode, Kenzi Technology will have live demonstrations of passenger tracking, electronic passport authentication, secured cheque printing, hack-proof ID cards, a unique photocopier that detects and blocks classified documents from being copied and a shredder that prevents unauthorized shredding of sensitive documents.
The Airport Show is the region's leading showcase for airport equipment, technology and services from around the world. Launched in 2001 for the pre-qualification of suppliers to the USD1.4 billion Dubai International Airport expansion, the event has developed into the region's premier airport exhibition - catering to over USD 50 billion worth of airport expansion across the Middle East, Africa and Indian Sub-continent.
